Here is what almost everyone will do for the next twenty days.
Brace. Treat the retrograde as weather to be endured, back up the hard drive, apologize in advance for whatever goes wrong and wait for November 13 like a man waiting out a storm under a tree.
The Maya were not bracing but rather were counting.
Whoever braces has made the next twenty days into an obstacle between themselves and their life. A person who counts has understood that the twenty days are their life, that they have a shape and that the shape can be read.
Twenty days is one winal. It is a unit, the way a season is a unit. You have never once braced for autumn (maybe winter tho, *wink to those who get the reference).
What follows are five shifts, each one drawn from a principle in the free article, each with a date attached where the date matters. They are not rituals. There is nothing to buy, burn or bury. They are changes in where you put your attention, which is the only thing you actually control during a transit and the only thing worth changing.
One honesty note before we begin. These five are my synthesis based on my experience with Mayan correspondences + retrogrades. These shifts are what happens when a practitioner reads the second through the first.
