A breath of fresh air in the occult community that typically relies on old or rehashed takes. Manticore's takes challenge common notions and that challenge is something that should be welcomed.
Magick Without Tears is one of the few occult publications that combines unsentimental critique of institutions with a deep commitment to practice, text and actual transformation. Marco strips away "occult cosplay" and nostalgic subculture to point readers back to the demands of occultism itself--you know, the hard stuff and hard questions about existential reality. A tall task, but this pub rises to the occasion.
Poetry & Magic combined in a way I always wanted to read. Other's would claim to have such ways with words but often fall short. If you want a sensory experience with your morning cup of coffee, give the Word Witch a read.
From an initiated standpoint or a provocative standpoint, Davezilla is a very impressive practitioner and creator. I first stumbled upon his interviews with Ivy Corvus and Grimerica and walked away validated that I was not the only one willing to push the envelope of spirituality+art+the future. If you care about the crossroads of magic, museums and modern creativity, this is a publication you should be subscribed to.
