Finally, somebody says it plain. Magic isn’t about cosplay aesthetics or rushing straight to demon pacts it’s about fundamentals, discipline, and doing the boring stuff until it clicks. That’s what separates the dabblers from the ones who actually transform. I especially dig the point about art drawing sigils and creating from scratch is the training, not the extra fluff. Thanks for keeping it real 👊

Hey thanks for you feedback! yeah, people expect magic to be "Hollywood Magic." or at least like an instant hack to reality. it may seem like a hack but it is a skill set. the better you get at the magical skill set the more it can look like a hack from the outside. I breifly mention it but I find the similarities between magic and the martial arts to be uncanny. at its root like any art, there are fundamentals and there are X factors. but the X factors become more tangible as you clock in the reps.

Great piece with sound advice for those just starting out on their magical path. I also say research constantly. The old works of the 19th and early 20th centuries were crucial to the existence of mainstream magic as we know it today.
